HAIR TEAM RULES & EXPECTATIONS

By signing this form, I agree to the following:

Professional Conduct

• Conduct myself professionally and respectfully at all times.
• No profanity, harassment, discrimination, bullying, or disruptive behavior.
• Follow directions from The Walker Foundation staff, event coordinators, and venue personnel.

Child Safety

• Treat all children and families with respect and care.
• Never leave a child unattended.
• Immediately report any safety concerns to event leadership.

Parent/Guardian Consent

• Services must only be provided with parent or guardian approval.
• No major haircut changes or specialized services without parental consent.

Photography & Social Media

• No photos or videos of children or participants without authorization from The Walker Foundation.
• Official event photography will be handled by approved photographers.

Cleanliness & Sanitation

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Properly sanitize tools and equipment before and after use.
• Dispose of trash and materials appropriately.

Dress Code

• Professional appearance required.
• Event shirt, badge, apron, vest, or lanyard may be required.
• Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

Sales & Solicitation

• No unauthorized selling, recruiting, fundraising, or promotion of outside businesses during the event.
• Distribution of marketing materials requires prior approval from The Walker Foundation.

LIABILITY RELEASE, ACCIDENT & SLIP/FALL WAIVER

I understand that participation in HAIRitage Day may involve risks including, but not limited to, slips, trips, falls, equipment-related injuries, personal injury, property damage, illness, or medical emergencies.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in HAIRitage Day.

I release, waive, and hold harmless The Walker Foundation, HAIRitage Day, sponsors, venue partners, volunteers, officers, directors, employees, contractors, board members, and affiliated organizations from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, losses, actions, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the event.

I understand that I am responsible for my own medical expenses, health insurance, personal property, and transportation.

I agree to immediately report any accident, injury, slip-and-fall incident, safety concern, or property damage to event leadership.

CONFIDENTIALITY, COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK & EVENT PROTECTION AGREEMENT

I acknowledge that HAIRitage Day, The Walker Foundation, Crown Kingz, Hair Talk Academy, Walk of Confidence, event concepts, event flow, event structure, sponsorship packages, educational content, volunteer systems, branding, logos, graphics, forms, presentations, marketing materials, and operational procedures are proprietary assets of The Walker Foundation.

I agree that I will not:

• Copy, duplicate, imitate, reproduce, or recreate HAIRitage Day’s event flow, event format, programming structure, sponsorship model, volunteer structure, educational curriculum, operational systems, or community engagement strategies.
• Use or reproduce The Walker Foundation’s logos, trademarks, slogans, graphics, photos, videos, forms, presentations, documents, or marketing materials without written permission.
• Create a substantially similar event, program, fundraiser, fashion show, walk, or community initiative using information obtained through participation in HAIRitage Day.
• Share confidential planning information, sponsor information, donor information, participant information, vendor information, or operational information with outside parties.
• Recruit, solicit, divert, or attempt to divert sponsors, vendors, volunteers, donors, stylists, participants, or partners from The Walker Foundation for competing purposes.

I understand that all event materials are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, confidentiality, and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, duplication, distribution, or misappropriation of protected materials may result in removal from the event and legal action.

MEDIA RELEASE

I grant The Walker Foundation permission to photograph, videotape, and record my participation during HAIRitage Day for promotional, educational, fundraising, and marketing purposes without compensation.
