Terms of Use for Hairitage Day Event Hosted by The Walker Foundation

These Terms of Use govern your participation in and attendance at the Hairitage Day event hosted by The Walker Foundation. By registering for or attending the event, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Event Participation

Participation in Hairitage Day is voluntary.

All attendees must register, either online or on-site, and check in upon arrival.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

2. Code of Conduct

We strive to maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior

Disruptive conduct or refusal to follow event staff instructions

Vandalism, theft, or destruction of property

Use of illegal substances or alcohol on site

Fighting or physical altercations – The Walker Foundation has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for violence. Anyone engaging in violent behavior will be immediately removed from the event and may be reported to authorities.

Inappropriate dress – This is a family-friendly event. All attendees must dress modestly and appropriately around children. Attire that is overly revealing or offensive will not be permitted.


Anyone violating this code may be removed from the event without refund or reentry.

3. Media Release

By attending the event, you grant The Walker Foundation permission to capture, use, and publish photos, videos, or audio recordings of you for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify event staff at check-in.

4. Liability Waiver

By participating in the Hairitage Day event:

You assume all risks associated with attending a public event.

The Walker Foundation is not liable for any personal injury, illness, lost belongings, or property damage.

You agree to hold harmless The Walker Foundation, its staff, volunteers, vendors, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from your participation.

5. Health & Safety

Attendees agree to comply with any health or safety protocols in place, including sanitation, first aid, and emergency procedures.

If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of illness, we kindly ask that you refrain from attending for the safety of others.

6. Vendor and Activity Participation

Participation in specific activities or vendor services may require additional waivers or agreements.

The Walker Foundation is not responsible for goods or services provided by third-party vendors.

7. Changes and Cancellations

The Walker Foundation reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, programming, or venue, and to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of cancellation, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes related to these Terms or the event shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Missouri.
